Jayne Croft is a long serving team member at Max Engel & Co since 2001. Her tenure has given her an unparalleled understanding of the firm’s history, processes, and clientele. Colleagues often turn to Jayne when they need to locate older files or understand the context of long-standing client relationships—she’s our go-to person for institutional memory. Jayne is a natural leader in the office who can delegate effectively and helps junior staff members find their footing. Her strong will and resoluteness, tempered by her kind nature, make her a role model for many in the firm.

Jayne’s role spans our Wills and Probate Department and assists with Marketing. Her unique blend of professional efficiency and personal warmth sets Jayne apart. She’s known for her ability to stay calm in a crisis, helpfulness, and knack for building rapport with clients. These qualities make her an invaluable asset in an often high-pressure legal environment.

Despite facing personal challenges, including successfully overcoming a battle with cancer, Jayne approaches life and work with infectious positivity. Her mantra of “living life to the full” is evident in both her professional dedication and her personal pursuits—from attending Coldplay concerts, being inked and seeking out the fastest rollercoasters.

Jayne’s life outside work – as a mother of two teenagers and owner of two “crazy French bulldogs” – adds depth to her character and enhances her ability to relate to clients from all walks of life.
