Kira Luka-Langley’s journey at Max Engel & Co. is a testament to her dedication, rapid professional growth, and the firm’s commitment to nurturing talent. Kira graduated from Bournemouth University in 2021 with a 2:1 LLB (Hons) Law degree and joined us in February 2022 as a commercial paralegal. Not content to rest on her laurels, Kira embarked on her LLM master’s degree in Legal Practice (SQE 1 and SQE 2) in January 2023, working full-time and preparing for her Solicitor’s Qualifying Exams. Kira then passed her Solicitor Qualifying Exams and qualified as a solicitor in May 2024.

Kira has developed a particular expertise in commercial property and company law in her role. She’s adept at handling various tasks, from drafting and reviewing lease agreements and purchase contracts to dealing with first registration applications, especially in cases where title deeds are missing, has made her a go-to person for these often-challenging scenarios. Clients appreciate her unique ability to explain these complex matters in clear, understandable terms, making the often-daunting world of property law more accessible and less intimidating.

Kira’s colleagues value her dependability, ambition, and patient approach to her work. She has a talent for building rapport with clients and other professionals, a skill that serves her well in her day-to-day interactions and at the numerous networking events she attends. Despite her rapid rise, Kira remains committed to continuous learning and improvement. She approaches each new challenge with enthusiasm and an open mind, always looking for ways to expand her knowledge and skills.

Outside of her legal work, Kira’s organised and ambitious nature extends to her personal life.
