Are you an experienced paralegal, legal executive, licenced conveyancer or NQ solicitor who wants a role with a varied and interesting largely autonomous caseload of non-volumised residential conveyancing for clients who appreciate the personal touch.

If you are comfortable dealing with your own matters from inception to completion, we have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced and ambitious full-time conveyancer to join our growing team, working with two highly experienced conveyancers in our Residential Conveyancing department, and benefitting from paralegal support.

You will already be able to conduct your own matters with appropriate supervision and support. You will also support and have the benefit of learning from the senior conveyancers in more complex matters, and we hope you will aspire to work towards conducting more complex matters yourself in due course.

We are looking for candidates who can show an enthusiastic and committed approach to their career development and learning on the job, who will be seeking to enhance their experience and progress in their career development.

You will ideally have at least around 2 years’ experience in residential conveyancing, and might be wishing to take the next step in your career. Assistance with the SQE is available for the right candidate if necessary. Alternatively you may just be seeking a position where referral fees and high-volume work do not feature.

The ideal candidate will be ambitious friendly and proactive, and will actively look for ways to contribute without waiting to be asked. A willingness to learn and progress in due course is essential, we are looking for long term colleagues who wish to work in a supportive and friendly environment.

Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of Northampton.

In return, we will offer you a competitive salary (negotiable depending on qualifications and experience) with genuine prospects and support for career progression for the right candidate. A list of available staff benefits is available here. We are a well-established traditional firm, with a supportive friendly team and a strong emphasis on work life balance. We do not believe that one size fits all, we are flexible and focused on your career development and hope you are too, and we will offer bespoke training and development to help you develop your full potential.
